Bright colors and endearing characters are one of the first things you'll notice about Sharla’s art. Her unique style has a wide range of appeal, people often tell her they instantly recognize her art on products they see in stores. Sharla draws inspiration from nature, fashion and travel. She creates sophisticated, colorful designs that are fresh and that reflect today's trends.

Sharla earned her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Western Michigan University, she then began her career designing products for The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon to name a few.

 

In 2004 she launched her own Art Licensing business, working with clients across the country. Sharla's art can be found on many products such as fabric, tabletop ceramics, decorative flags and more.

In addition to designing and illustrating, Sharla also enjoys biking, lake activities and tending to her organic garden in the Summer.
